Chris Conner
Area Representative
Pelham | Shelby County
Chris grew up in a small town in North Georgia where he attended North Hall High School. His love of sports was evident from an early age, as played Baseball, Basketball, and Football for most of his life. In High school Chris accepted Christ after encountering Jesus via FCA Huddles and his peers pulling him to Church. After High School, Chris attended the University of North Georgia and began his mission of being the best Intramural athlete the school had ever known – a mission he did not accomplish but had fun trying!
Personally, Chris is married to Aubrey (19 years and counting), and has three sons: Sutton (15), Aidan (12), and Landon (10). In their spare time – ha, as if that exists – you will find them all on a ball field somewhere around Birmingham.
Professionally, Chris served as a Pastor for in three local church for 22 years in total, serving in Youth Ministry for most of that time. Feeling the unmistakable pull from God to a new season of Ministry, Chris accepted a role with FCA in the Winter of 2026 – joining the staff of our Greater Birmingham team. His focus this first year will be with Pelham City Schools but will soon expand to helping lead our Shelby County FCA initiatives.
“My passion in life is connecting people: to the Gospel, each other, and their unique calling to impact this world for the Kingdom. My love of sports and people have positioned me to impact Coaches and Athletes at Pelham Schools for many years as a volunteer, and now as my full-time job I know I am right where God has called.”
